      St. John’s Lutheran Church of Winsted is having their Chile and Pie Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 7th from 10a-1p.  Take outs are available.  Don’t forget to stop by the Craft sale also!

      Peace Lutheran Church of Watertown presents “The Looney Lutherans” by the Church Basement Ladies 7 pm on Saturday, Nov. 8th.  Tickets are $15 and includes Dessert and a beverage.

      The Hector Lioness Club invites you to their Omelet Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 9a-12:30p at the American Bar and Grill.  Proceeds used for special projects in the community.    

    2. Green Isle Soup and Sandwich Luncheon
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Isle is hosting their Soup and Sandwich Luncheon on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 10a-1p.  Adults are $7, Children 6-10 are $4, and under 5 is free.  On the menu is Chili, Chicken Noodle Soup, Cream of Broccoli Soup,Wild Rice Soup, Egg Salad and Ham Sandwiches.    

    3. St. James Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St. James Social Ministry invites you to join them for a Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale Sunday, Nov. 9th from 11a-1p at the St. James Fellowship Hall in Howard Lake.  All proceeds will benefit their Christian Benevolence Program.

    4. Community Bingo
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      Area Senior Citizens are invited to Community Bingo at the Ecumen Oaks and Pines on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 2-3 pm.  Quarter a card, $1 for coverall.  Refreshments are served after Bingo.  

    5. Cosmos Soup/Sandwich Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cosmos is having a Soup and Sandwich Supper on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 4:30-7 pm.  Free will offering is the cost, Hymn sing will be at 6 pm.

      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      St. Thomas More church in Lake Lillian is having their Turkey Bingo on Sunday, Nov. 9th starting at 6:30 pm.  Free Lunch and Door Prizes given out.  Everyone is welcome.

      The Brownton American Legion and Auxiliary will be meeting on Monday, Nov. 10th at the Brownton Community Center.  Meeting starts at 7:30 pm.

      The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Glencoe has their Fall Luncheon and Bake Sale on Thursday, Nov. 13th from 11a-1p.  Serving Hot Turkey Sandwiches, Potato Salad, and more!  Cost is $8.

    1. Veterans Day Program
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      The ACGC Elementary School’s Veterans Day Program in Atwater was cancelled Tuesday, rescheduled to Friday, Nov. 14th at 2 pm.

    2. Holiday Open House
      5:00 pm – 1:00 pm

      The Holiday Open House will be held at the Emmaus Gift Shop in Litchfield Friday, Nov. 14th from 5-7 pm and Saturday, Nov. 15th from 9a-1p.  There is a bake sale, Scandinavian treats, Music, Holiday Cookies, Coffee and Cider.  Everyone is welcome.  

    3. Allen Family in Concert
      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      The First Baptist Church of Cokato is hosting the Allen Family in Concert on Friday, Nov. 14th at 6:30 pm.  This Southern Gospel Music Family has traveled the world for their music, and you can see their new show on TLC this fall.  A free will offering will be taken.

      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The Litchfield Opera House presents their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15th from 9a-2p.  Homemade Crafts will be sold, Entertainment, Snack Bar and more.  Admission is free.

    2. Fall Salad Luncheon
      10:30 am – 12:00 pm

      The women of Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake invite area ladies to their annual Fall Salad Luncheon on Saturday, Nov 15th at 10:30 am.  The event is free and will include a variety of delicious salads, and a talk by Karen Mitchell who will be speaking on her faith story called Adventure in Moving as well as on how to plan a quiet time and tips on hospitality. Reservations are not required, but are appreciated for planning purposes. To let us know you will be attending you call the church at (320)327-2352 

    3. Glencoe Community Strings Concert
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      The Glencoe Community Springs will be performing at St. John’s Lutheran Church of New Germany on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 2 pm.  Light refreshments will be served.  Free will offering will be taken with proceeds going to St. John’s 150th anniversary fund.

      8:30 am – 12:00 pm

      St. Anthony’s Church in Watkins is selling Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup on Sunday, Nov. 16th from 8:30a-Noon.  Bouja is $13 per gallon, Chicken Noodle is $12.  You can preorder by calling Larry at 320-764-2965.  (no sale in December, sale returns in January)

    1. Educational Program
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Mcleod County Historical Society presents “Mcleod’s Goods and People moved by rail”, an educational program on Monday, Nov. 17th from 7-8 pm at the Museums Educational Center.  Journalist and railroad history buff Terry Davis gives an inside look as to how Mcleod County’s goods and people were moved by the railroad  in the early days of the county.

    1. Caregiver Support Group
      1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Next caregiver support group is Tuesday, Nov. 18th from 1:30-3 pm at the RC Hosptial and Clinic Willette Room in Olivia.  The group is free of charge.  The topic this month is “Holiday’s: Humbug or Hooray?”  All are welcome.  

    2. Photography Showcase
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Hutchinson Photography Club will host its 7th Annual Photography Showcase on Tuesday, November 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts.  About 20 local artists will display nearly 120 photographs in several categories. More info at Hutchinsonphotographyclub.com

      The Brownton American Legion is having their annual Duck Party on Friday, Nov. 21st starting at 7 pm.  Drawings for Hams, Turkeys, Ducks and Cash Prizes throughout the night.

      The Cosmos Legion invites you for their Turkey Supper on Friday, Nov. 21st from 4:30-8 pm.  Cost is $10, Kids 12 and under eat for $5.  

    3. Kingston Chili Supper

      The Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church is hosting their Chili Supper on Friday, Nov. 21st from 5-7 pm.  Chili or Soup is available with Cornbread, breadstick and more!  A craft and baked goods sale will be going on also.

      The Holy Family CCW invites you to their Craft, Bake, and Gently used toy sale on Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 8a-3:30p at the Church of the Holy Family in Silver Lake.  Also serving Homemade Kolaches, selling embroidered towels, Christmas items and more.

    2. Craft/Art Fair
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The 36th annual Fine Arts Expo and 34th annual Creative Crafts Fair will be held Saturday, Nov 22,        9 am-2 pm at the Middle School in Howard Lake. There will be 80+ artists and craft persons exhibiting their works for sale. No admission fee, bring friends and family. Food stand, bake sale and prizes.

    3. NYA Craft Fair
      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The 32nd annual NYA Community Education Craft Fair will be Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 9a-3p.  Over 200 crafters on hand at Central High School/Middle School and a Business Fair will be at St. John’s Lutheran School.  Shuttle Bus will travel between the sites.  Lunch is available at all three sites.

    4. Holiday Home Tour
      12:30 pm – 4:30 pm

      Today’s women of Hutchinson present their Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, Nov. 22nd from 12:30-4:30 pm.  Advance tickets ONLY are $25 per adult and available at the Hutch Chamber office.  Dessert is served after the tour.  Proceeds help fund local organizations.
