    1. St Patricks Celebration
      1:30 pm – 4:00 pm

      St. Brendan’s Catholic Church of Green Isle’s St. Patrick’s Celebration- with an afternoon of Bingo, prizes, & lunch will be on Sunday March 12 at 1:30 p.m.  Event will be held at the Green Isle School Gymnasium.   $8.00 for 20 games, plus lunch & door prizes.

    1. Presentation
      6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      You are invited to attend a presentation on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America March 14, 6:30pm at Harmony River Living Center, Hutchinson. Janet Beihoffer, Adjunct Professor at Metropolitan State University, cover the period between 1776 and 1788 when the US Constitution was finally official.  In addition, she will discuss the role of Religion and its influence in our Founding. Question and answer period following presentation. Refreshments served.

    1. St Anastasia Rummage Sale
      8:00 am – 6:00 pm

      St Anastasia Catholic Church is holding their Rummage Sale on March 15-17th. Quarter for most items, Friday is $2/bag day. Winter Coats and Jackets are $1 each.

    2. Food for Kidz Packing Event
      7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      Christ The King Church and 3M Cares are doing a Food For Kidz Packing on Wednesday, March 15th from 7-10p and Thursday, March 16th from Noon-5 pm. Everyone is welcome, also donations are needed to pay for ingredients…100% of the donations go to the cost of the ingredients.

      The Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary is having their next meeting March 15th starting at 7 pm at the VFW. All Members and those eligible are welcome.

      The United Lutheran Church of Lake Lillian is having their Smelt Fry on Friday, March 17th from 4-7 pm. Adults are $12, Ages 6-12 is $5, 5 and under free. All you can Eat!

    1. Big Little Hunting and Fishing Expo
      9:00 am – 5:30 pm

      It’s the Big Little Hunting and Fishing Expo on Saturday, March 18th at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds from 9a-5:30p. Free Parking, and Free Will Donation for Admission. The show features booths, seminars, food, trout pond, casting contest and more! More info at ChristianDeerHunters.org

    2. Craft and Vendor Sale
      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The 2nd Annual Spring Craft and Vendor Sale will be Saturday, March 18th at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson from 9a-3p. Salad and Ham on a Bun will be served at Noon for a free will donation. Proceeds raised go to the church’s Youth Group.  

    3. Vintage Snowmobile Show
      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The Crow River Sno Pro’s are having their annual Vintage Snowmobile Show on Saturday, March 18th from 9a-3p at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds. There will be a Youth Fun Zone, Simulator, swap meet and more.  

    4. Cabin Fever Days Mystery Dinner
      6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      6th Annual Brownton Cabin Fever Days Mysterty Dinner is Saturday, March 18th. Doors open at 6 pm, Smoked Pork Chop Dinner and Show at 7 pm at the Brownton Community Center. Tickets are $20 per person.

      6:45 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Wright County Dairy Princess Banquet will be this Saturday, March 18th at the HLWW High School. Social Hour at 6:45 pm, Dinner at 7 pm.

    1. Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup Sale
      8:30 am – 12:00 pm

      The next Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup Sale will be Sunday, March 19th at St. Anthony’s Church in Watkins from 8:30a-Noon. Bouja is $13 per gallon, Chicken Noodle is $12. You can pre order by calling Larry at 320-764-2965.

    2. Belgian Waffle Feed
      9:30 am – 12:30 pm

      Sunday March 19th - Montrose Methodist Church is hosting its annual Dad’s Belgian Waffle breakfast and silent auction at the Community Center in Montrose from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm.  Menu includes waffles, sausage, strawberries, flavored syrup, coffee, milk & orange juice.  All you care to eat – take-outs available.  Adults $8, Kids 6-12 $5, under 5 free.  Proceeds benefit FE+ED, Love INC & other ministries of outreach/caring.

    3. Mini Concert
      9:30 am – 11:00 am

      On Sunday, March 19th Guest Speaker Travis Vaad will be sharing during the regular 9:30 am morning worship service at Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake. Travis is a gifted singer/songwriter/recording artist, pastor, missionary and Christian speaker. Immediately following the service (at about 10:35 am) there will be a 40 minute mini-concert with free refreshments where Travis will be playing and sharing some of the background to his songs found on his latest album”Fly”. There is no charge for the event—and the public is invited to attend.

      You’re invited to take part in the Heart Hop on Saturday, March 25th at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds Ag Building from 10:30a-1:30p. There will be Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, Minute to win it games, and more! Cost is $5 person or $20 per family.  

    2. Ryane Clark Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser
      11:00 am – 3:00 pm

      You’re invited to a Ryane Clark Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, March 25th at the American Legion in New London. There is a Chicken Dinner from 11a-3p, Bake Sale, Silent Auction, and Meat Raffle.

      The Silver Lake Legion is serving their Potato Pancakes on Sunday, March 26th. Serving all you can eat potato or regular pancakes, scrambled eggs, an dmore. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for child.

      Bethel Lutheran Church, Lester Prairie,Mn  is having a Paper Drive, March 30th-April 10th. Bring  your Paper, Phone Books. Cereal Boxes,Telephone Books,Card Board,to the Trailer in the Parking Lot. Please No Pizza Boxes with Food on Or String Around Paper, No plastic Bags .Funds raised will be used for Landscaping around  the Church.

      You are invited to the Kimball Area Community Expo on Saturday, April 1st from 8:30a-12:30p at the Kimball Area High School. Remarkable Reptiles show at 10 am, Breakfast served from 7:30-10a, Dance Performance at 11 am with Pro Dancer Kailen Nelson.

      The Friends of the Hutchinson Library are having a used book sale on Saturday, April1st from 10a-5p in the Library Basement.  

    3. 50 piece Band
      4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

      The Historic 50 piece MN State Band will perform at the Litchfield Opera House on Saturday, April 1st at 4 pm. Tickets are $5, Refreshment available by free will offering.  

    4. Spaghetti Dinner
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Hunters Ridge Community Church has their Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 1st from 4:30-7p. ickets are $7 for adults, Kids under 10 are $4. Proceeds go to help send kids to Bible Camp.  

    5. Hog and Turkey Roast
      5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

      The Winsted Sportsmens Club has it’s annual Hog and Turkey Roast at the Blue Note Ballroom of Winsted on Saturday, April 1st from 5-7:30 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.

      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Winthrop Lions Club is hosting a made to order omelet breakfast on Sunday April 2nd from 9-1:00 at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Winthrop.  Cost is $7.00, includes toast, fruit, orange juice and milk or coffee.

    2. Spring Brunch
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Glencoe Lions Club invites you to their Annual “All You Care to Eat” Spring Brunch on Sunday, April 2 nd at the Pla-Mor Ballroom, Glencoe, serving from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. With take-outs available. Menu includes: Pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs, 100% pure maple syrup, fruit, juice, toast, coffee and milk. Advance Adult tickets are $9.00 and are available from Lions Club Members. Prices at the door are Adults – $10.00, Children (age 4 – 10) $5.00, and children age three and under eat FREE. Proceeds will be used toward community projects. Collection boxes will also be available for your used eyeglasses, sunglasses and hearing aids.

      The Plato Lions Club has their Annual Spring Brunch at the Plato Hall on Sunday, April 2nd from 9:30a-12:30p. All you can Eat Pancakes, Sausage, Eggs, and more for a Free Will Donation. Proceeds going to Community Projects.  

    4. Spring Fling Brunch
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The New Auburn Lions Club has their Spring Fling Brunch on Sunday, April 2nd from 10a-1p at the New Auburn City Hall. Serving Eggs with Ham and Cheese, Hashbrowns and more. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 10 and under, 5 and under free. Proceeds go to community Projects.  

    5. Alaskan Lunch
      10:30 am – 12:30 pm

      Peace Lutheran Church of Hutchinson presents an authentic Alaskan Soup and Bread Lunch on Sunday, April 2nd from 10:30a-12:30p. On the Menu is Moose and Cabbage Soup, Cheesy Vegetable Soup, and more. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 3-10, Free for under 3 years old. Proceeds support the church’s Alaskan Mission Project.  

    6. Mcleod Cty Dairy Banquet
      11:30 am – 3:00 pm

      McLeod County Dairy Associations 64th Spring Banquet and Dairy Princess Coronation is being held on Sunday, April 2  at the Glencoe City Center at 11:30a.m. Appetizers and 12:00p.m. Complete Buffet Dinner catered by Unhinged Pizza followed by the famous Make -Your-Own Sundae Bar.  Princess Coronation and Dairy awards given followed by drawing for door prizes. Dinner Music by Alice Nowak. Tickets Adult Advance $14.00, Adult at Door $17.00, Children ages 5-10 $7.00, Under 5-FREE

    7. West Central MN Mens Chorus
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      West Central MN Men’s Chorus will be performing a concert at 2pm, Sunday, April 2nd at Oak Heights Covenant Church, Hutchinson. The program is open to the public. There will be a free will offering for the Common Cup Ministry.
