    1. Ice Fishing Contest
      1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Brownton Rod and Gun Club’s Ice Fishing Contest is coming up Saturday, Feb 4th from 1-3pm on the South Side of Lake Marion. Cash Prizes for Fish, Raffles available also.  

    2. Dueces Wild
      7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The GSL Panther Assn presents Dueces Wild, a Dueling pianos act at the Glencoe City Center on Saturday, Feb 4th at 7:30 pm. Advance Tickets are available at the Glencoe City Offices, Glencoe Wine and Spirits, or at the door.

    1. Potato Pancake Dinner
      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The First Evangelical Lutheran Church Mens Club is holding their annual Potato Pancake and Sausage Dinner on Sunday, February 5th from 9a-3p. All you can eat for $10, Kids ages 4-12 are $5. Take outs available.  

    2. Anderson Benefit
      11:00 am – 3:00 pm

      You’re invited to a benefit for Tony Anderson on Sunday, Feb. 5th from 11a-3p at the Atwater Community Center. There will be a free will donation for the meal, also you can shop the bake sale and silent auction. Proceeds benefit Tony who’s battling Wegner Vasculitis and received a kidney transplant.  

    3. Sleepy Eye Fishing Derby
      12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Sleepy Eye Sportsmen’s Club is holding their annual Fishing Derby on Sunday, Feb 5th from Noon-3 pm on Sleepy Eye Lake. Entry fee is $5, Cash Prizes are awarded, also take part in the raffles.

    4. Souper Bowl
      12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

      The Hutchinson Church of God is having their “Souper” Bowl Dinner on Sunday, Feb 5th from Noon-2pm. Serving Chili, Chicken Wild Rice, Tomato Basil, and more!

      The Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary has their next Spaghetti Supper on Thursday, Feb 9th from 4-7 pm at the Elks Club.

      The Glencoe Knights of Columbus presents their Fish Fry on Friday, Feb 10th from 11a-7p at the Pla Mor Ballroom. Serving all you can eat for $10 in advance, $11 at the door. Children 10 and under are $5.

      The Howard Lake Fishing Derby is coming up Saturday, Feb 11th from 1-3pm on Howard Lake. Prize for Biggest Fish, Ice Chiseling and Power Auger Contest at approx. 3 pm. Lunch Wagon on sinte, and Raffle Prizes given out.

      You are invited to a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit on Saturday, Feb 11th from 4-8 pm at the Forest City Threshers Building. Proceeds go to Louie Huber, who was injured in a farm accident this fall.

      8:00 am – 12:00 pm

      The Hector Lions Club All you can Eat Flapjack Festival is Sunday, Feb 12th from 8a-12p at the Hector Community Center. Free Will Donation for Flapjacks with fresh fruit toppings, French Toast, Sausage, and Beverage. Proceeds support BLHS School Safety Patrol Reward Day.  

    2. Archery Ministry
      1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

      Members and friends of Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake will be starting their next   session of an archery ministry called Centershot. Centershot is a Bible-based archery ministry that consists of a 45 minute Bible study and 45 minutes of archery instruction one day a week for 8 weeks.  The church provides the bows and arrows which are used during the training sessions in the church basement shooting range (ages 7 through Adult).  Participants pay a nominal fee to help cover the cost of the study book.  The next session of Centershot will begin Sunday, February 12th  from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Those interested in finding out more are encouraged to contact the church office (320)327-2352. 

    3. Schafskopf Tournament
      1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      Brownton Baseball presents their annual Schafskopf Tournament on Sunday, Feb 12th at the Brownton Community Center with Sessioins at 1 and 3 pm. Donation Tickets are $1, Need not be present to win. 

    4. Tobacco Farming in Meeker County
      1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Meeker County Historical Society presents a program on Tobacco Farming in Meeker County on Sunday, Feb 12th at 1:30pm. Cost is $2, Program is at the G.A.R Hall in Litchfield.

    1. ECFE Valentines Day Event
      11:00 am – 12:00 pm

      The GSL ECFE invites kids ages 1-Preschool to a Valentines Day Event. Parents, Grandparents, or other caregivers are invited to bring the kids from 11a-Noon or 6-7 pm to make Valentines Cards and have all sorts of Valentines Day Fun. You can register on their Facebook page or call 864-2681

      The February Regular meeting of the Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary will be on February 15th, at 7pm at the Hutchinson VFW Post 906.

      Help Fight youth Diabetes in the area with the annual fundraiser event on Saturday, Feb 18th at the Blue Note Ballroom in Winsted from 9a-2p. Shop over 20 different crafters, Bid on the silent auction, Get easter portraits, Kids activities, Live Music, Read Books with Penny the Therapy Dog and more!

      The Wright County VA Staff will be at the Cokato City Hall for a Suicide Prevention Presentation on Wednesday, Feb 22nd at 6 pm. The talk will be on Suicide Prevention and VA Health Care.

    1. Health Board Meeting
      9:00 am – 11:00 am

      Meeker-McLeod- Sibley Community Health Services will hold its quarterly Community Health Board meeting on Thursday, February 23 rd , 2017 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. This meeting will be held in the Large Meeting room at the McLeod County HHW/Solid Waste Management Hutchhinson, MN 55350. The meeting is open to the public.

      You’re invited to a night of Beer and Hymns and Food! The event is Friday, Feb 24th from 6-9pm at the Buffalo Lake Liquor Store. Food Served from 6-7:30 pm, Music from Beer and Hymns from 7-9pm. Cost is $8 per plate with all proceeds support the improvement fund at Zion Lutheran Church.

      The WM Fine Arts Council present the internationally acclaimed group McInnis Kitchen on Monday, Feb 27th at 7 pm at the WM HS Performing Arts Center. The WM School Choirs will be joining the group on stage in the concert. Cost is a $5 admission at the door.
