    1. Potato Pancake Dinner
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      The New Auburn VFW invites you to a Potato Pancake Dinner on Sunday, April 19th.  Serving from 10:30a-1p at the New Auburn Fire Hall.  Adults are $9, Children 5-11 are $5, under 5 is free.  Serving Potato and Buttermilk Pancakes, Pork Sausage, Applesauce and more.

    2. PTL Dinner
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St. James Lutheran School of Howard Lake invites you to their annual PTL Dinner on Sunday, April 19th from 11a-1p.  The fundraiser features a western themed meal, carnival games, and a silent auction.  Adults are $8, Children 4-12 are $5, under 3 is free.  

    3. BLHS Music Fundraiser
      4:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      Sunday, April 19 the BLHS Music Department is hosting the “White Sidewalls Love Potion #10 Muscial” and Grill-Out at the BLHS High School Gym.  The grill out starts at 4:00 - hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, rootbeer floats, coffee and bars will be available for purchase. The White Sidewalls performance will begin at 5:00pm with the BLHS high school choir members performing some songs with the group.  

      Tickets for the White Sidewalls performance can be purchased from a BLHS band or choir member, or be purchased at the door. Tickets are $25.00 each.

      Silver Lakes City Wide Garage Sales are Thursday-Saturday (April 23-25).  8a-5p Thur and Fri, 8-Noon on Saturday.

    2. Creekside Community Church Concert
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      Creekside Community Church of Arlington welcomes Southern Gospel group Still Water on Thursday, April 23rd at 7 pm.  No admission, but a Free will offering will be taken.

    3. Ridgewater Choir
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      On Thursday, April 23, Ridgewater’s combined choir of students from both Hutchinson and Willmar campuses will perform at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. The 7:00 pm performance is free and open to the public.  This year’s theme is “All in the Family,” and will feature songs from childhood and family relationships.

      St. Pauls UCC of Plato is having their Salad Luncheon on Friday, April 24th from 11a-1p.  Cost is $8

    2. Hammer and Nails Dinner
      5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      Crow River Habitat for Humanity is hosting their Hammer and Nails fundraiser dinner on Friday, April 24th at the Days Inn, Hutchinson.  5:30 pm is social hour, dinner and entertainment at 6 pm.  Tickets are $40 each, $5 for raffle tickets.  Proceeds benefit the groups 2015 build.

      8:00 am – 11:00 am

      The Dassel Legion and DC Boy Scouts present Dad’s Belgian Waffles on Saturday, April 25th from 8-11a at the Dassel History Center.  Serving all you can eat Waffles, Toppings Sausages, and beverages.  Adults are $8, Children under 12 are $5

    2. Autism Fair
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      The Fairfax Library is hosting an Autism Resource Fair on Saturday, April 25th from 9a-Noon.  Get information and resources, Books, videos, sensory friendly movie, and more!  

    3. DAV Open House
      11:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The Disabled American Veterans of Hutchinson is having an open house on Saturday, April 25th from 11a-3p at their new location, 177 3rd Ave NW.  A light lunch and beverage is served.  View their new place, meet some members, and learn about the DAV.  

    4. Annie’s Fight
      3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      It’s a day for Annie’s Fight, benefiting Annie Wilner-Miller on April 25th from 3-8 pm at the Cosmos Legion.  Silent Auction will be from 3-7 pm, Food Served from 5-7 pm, Shop at the bake sale, Live Auction at 7, then stick around for live music after the benefit.  Proceeds benefit Annie’s medical expenses after being left paralyzed due to a broken vertebrae.  

    5. Link Union Concert
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Hutchinson Concert Association presents Link Union on Saturday, April 25th, 7 pm at Park Elementary in Hutchinson.  This family group sings a variety of tunes from rock to country…gospel to mountain music.  Cost is $20 at the door, memberships for the season are also available.

      10:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Faith Presbyterian Church of Silver Lake, will be holding their Polka Service featuring “Jim’s Brewers” on Sunday, April 26 at 10 am.  Immediately following the service, there will be a picnic hosted by the Faith Preschool Committee in the church basement.  Free will offering – all are welcome!!

    2. Winsted Pork Chop Dinner
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St. John’s of Winsted is holding their Pork Chop Dinner on Sunday, April 26th from 11a-1p.  Free Will Offering for Pork Chops, Hot Dogs, Cheesy Potatoes, Baked Beans, Coleslaw, andmore!  Take outs available.  The day starts with worship featuring Chuck Thiel and the Jolly Ramblers at 10 am.

    3. Po L K of A Dance
      1:30 pm – 5:30 pm

      The Polka Lovers Klub of America is holding their King and Queen Coronation Dance at the Pla Mor Ballroom in Glencoe on Sunday, April 26th from 1:30-5:30pm.  All Club Members free with Membership Cards, non Members are $5.

      The Litchfield United Methodist Church is having their Spring Luncheon on Wednesday, April 29th from 11a-1p.  Adults are $8, Children 5-12 are $2,and under 5 is free.

    2. Pulled Pork Supper
      4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

      St. John’s Catholic Church of Hector is serving a pulled pork and german potato salad or Scalloped Potatoes Supper in the church hall on Wednesday, April 29th from 4:30-6:30p.  Cost is $6 for adults, $1 for an extra sandwich, and $3 for ages 5-12.  Proceeds support Religious education and youth ministry.

      8:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Fairfax City Wide Garage Sales are May 1st and 2nd.  Many sale throughout the town and country.  

    2. Evening of Bluegrass and Gospel
      7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      The 4th annual Evening of Bluegrass and Gospel Music will be Friday, May 1st at the DC Performing Arts Center at 7 pm  Free will donation admission.  Music from: The Froemming Family-Allen and Matt-The Flemming Fold-The Alzen Family-Navigating North-The Minkin Family-The Mahlstedt Family.

    2. Singing Friends Chorus
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      The Singing Friends Chorus will present two spring variety concerts: on Saturday, May 2nd at 2 pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany.  The 2nd on Sunday, May 3rd at 2 pm at Church of Peace in NYA.  Admission is by freewill donation.  There will be a light reception after each concert.

    2. LP Spring Luncheon

      Bethel Lutheran Church of Lester Prairie has their Spring Luncheon on Sunday, May 3rd from 10:30a-12:30p.  Serving Shredded Turkey, Hot Dogs, and Fancy Desserts.  Also bid on the silent auction.  

    3. Pork Chop Dinner
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St. Paul’s Evangelical Reformed Church of Hamburg has a Pork Chop Dinner on Sunday, May 3rd, serving from 11a-1p.  Everyone Welcome.  Cost is $10 per adult, $5 for Childs hot dog meal.  

    4. Derby Day Fundraiser
      12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      You are invited to a Kentucky Derby Day Fundraiser for Equul Access on Sunday, May 3rd at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts and Zellas Restaurant.  The event runs from 12:30-3pm, lunch served at 1 pm.  Wear your most outrageous Derby outfit, Derby Hat contest with prizes, Kids Jockey outfit Contest, Photo opportunities with horses and more!  Tickets are $30 for age 13 and older, $15 for 12 and under.  Contact Marsha at 320-296-3227 for Tickets.  Proceeds benefit equine therapeutic activities for those with special needs.  

    5. Brownton Bike A Thon
      1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Brownton Fire Department is holding a Bike A Thon on Sunday, May 3rd from 1-4 pm, starting at the Brownton Lions Shelter.  All K-6th grade students are encouraged to participate, and anyone can sponsor a biker.  Prizes are given out, including a new bike to the person with the most pledges.  Proceeds from the event will be used by the Fire Dept for new fire and rescue equipment.

    6. Drawn to the Word
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      Peace Lutheran Church of Watertown presents the program “Drawn to the Word” on Sunday, May 3rd at 7 pm.  The program is presented by pastor and artist Paul Oman, who will give a program of singing and reading while he paints.  Free will offering taken, coffee and dessert following the program.
