    1. Fiber Arts Guild

      The Fiber Arts Guild will be meeting on Thursday, Feb 13th at 4:30 pm at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts.  Program for the night is Fabric Painting with Paint-Stiks.  Everyone is welcome.

    1. Faith Lutheran Church Fish Fry
      11:00 am – 7:00 pm

      Faith Lutheran Church of Hutchinson is holding their 21st annual Fish Fry at the church from 11 am – 7 pm on Friday, Feb 14th.  On the menu is Alaskan Pollock, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, and beverage.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $6 for children 6-12, free for 5 and under.  Carryouts and Call-ins are available, with deliveries from 4-6 pm only.  Proceeds benefit Green Lake Bible Camp and other Faith Lutheran Church ministries.

    1. Beckville Pancake Supper
      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Beckville Lutheran Mens Group is holding their Pancake Supper on Sunday, February 16th from 4-7 pm at the Beckville Lutheran Church (rural Litchfield).  Adults are $8 for all you can eat, Children 5-12 are $5, and under 5 is free.  Serving Gluten Free Potato Pancakes, Old Fashioned Pancakes, Sausages, beverages.  Proceeds go to Beckville’s Mission Fund.

    1. Caregiver Support Group
      1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      The next caregiver support group meeting will be Tuesday, Feb 18th at the RC Hospital, Willette Room in Olivia from 1:30 pm to 3 pm.  The Group is free of charge and this month’s guest is Gordy Blem, of Dirks- Blem Funeral Home, will be presenting information and options on funeral planning options. All are welcome.  Future meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month.

    1. Plato Fish Fry
      3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Plato Community Hall is hosting their 62nd annual Fish Fry on Friday, Feb 21st.  Serving starts at 3 pm.  On the menu is fish, potato salad, Chips, baked beans, and more!  Cost is $10 for adults, Children is $4 and preschool is free.  Take out orders are available.

    1. BLHS FFA Fishing Contest
      8:45 am – 3:00 pm

      The BLHS FFA is holding their fishing contest on Saturday, Feb 22nd at Lake Allie by Buffalo Lake.  Registration at 8:45 am, Fishing starts at 9 am (ends at 3 pm).  Cost is $5 per hole, with all holes pre-drilled.  Prizes given to top 5 people in the youth and adult division.  There will be a food stand on hand, but you will need to supply your own poles, bait, and tackle.  

    2. High Island Fish Fry
      11:00 am – 8:00 pm

      The High Island Lake Conservation Club is holding their 52nd annual Fish Fry on Saturday, Feb 22nd at the New Auburn City Hall.  Serving from 11 am – 8 pm or until the fish run out. Served Famiy Style, all you can eat for $11, Children ages 6-10 are $5,a nd under 5 are free.  Takeouts available until 6 pm.

    3. Authentic Italian Spaghetti Dinner
      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      Hunters Ridge Community Church of Hutchinson is hosting an Authentic Italian Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, Feb 22nd from 4-7 pm at the church.  Also on the menu: Ceaser Salad, Homemade Bread, and Cupcakes.  Adults are $7, 10 and under is $4.  Proceeds go to Village Creek Bible Camp

    1. Plato Pancake Dinner
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      St. John’s Lutheran Church of Plato is having their pancake dinner on Sunday, Feb 23 from 10:30 am – 1 pm at the church.  It’s all you can eat Pancakes, Ham, Applesauce, Dessert, and Beverages.  Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for ages 5-12, while 4 and under are free.  Take out is available.

    2. Science Cafe
      2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      Sunday, Feb 23rd you are invited to a Science Café at the Dassel History Center at 2 pm.  Enjoy a bite to eat, plus conversation about the Science Topic “What in all the world is all the world made of?”.  The discussion will be led by Dr. Aaron Moen of Cornell University.  There is no charge for admission.  Future Café’s will discuss Art, Music, History, and more.

    1. BL Turkey Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake is having a family style Turkey Supper on Thursday, February 27th (Moved from Wednesday due to weather) from 4:30 – 7 pm.  Eat in or Take out available.  Advance tickets are $8.50, $10 at the door, 5-11 yrs old are $4, and under 5 is free.  

    2. NCA Spaghetti Dinner
      5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      Postponed due to Weather…Moved to March 20th.   New Century Academy’s competitive Robotics team is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Thursday, Feb 27th from 5p-7p at the school in Hutchinson (east of 3M on 5th Ave).  The menu consists of Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Lettuce Salad, Breadstick, Dessert and Beverages.  Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door and are $6/person or $3 for children age 10 and under.

    3. Hutch Concert Association
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Hutchinson Concert Association presents the New Century Saxophone Quartet on Tuesday, March 11th at 7 pm.  Tickets are $20, available at the door.  The Hutchinson Concert Assocation is a part of the Hutchinson Center for the Arts.

    1. Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The Spring into Action Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser is coming up on Saturday, March 1st at the Blue Note Ballroom in Winsted from 9 am – 2 pm.  Enjoy shopping at the area vendors, Kids can enjoy Carnival Games, Live Music will be playing, and more is on tap!  All Money raised goes to Juvenile Diabetes Research Funding.  

    2. Snow Softball Benefit
      9:00 am – 8:00 pm

      You’re invited to enter a team in the Benefit Coed SNOW Softball Tournament on Saturday, March 1st in Lecenter.  The event is put on by Team Flamboyant Flamingo Flock as a fundraiser for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3 day walk.  Entry is $150 per team, with a beer bash and silent auction at 7 pm that night.  Call for Details to Kris at 320-583-0850

    1. Zion Lutheran Pancake Breakfast
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Zion Lutheran Church of Cologne is holding their Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 2nd from 9 am – 12:30 pm.  Enjoy pancakes, sausage, apple sauce, and beverage.  Cost is $6 in advance, $7 at the door, 5 and under eat free.  There will also be a silent and live auction held in the event.

    2. Glencoe Bridal Expo
      11:00 am – 3:00 pm

      Area Brides are invited to the Glencoe Area Bridal Expo on Sunday, March 2nd from 11 am – 3 pm at the Glencoe City Center.  The show features a wide variety of vendors to help you with the planning process of your wedding, including a fashion show at 1:30 pm.  

    3. MMHOF Fundraiser
      12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

      Enjoy a day of Music and Dance at the MN Music Hall of Fame Fundraiser on Sunday, March 2nd at Turner Hall in New Ulm from Noon-6 pm.  Bands playing the upper level include: Dale Dahmen and the Polka Beats, Wally Pikal and Harvey Becker, Leon Helget Band, and the Bockfest Boys.  In the lower level enjoy a Concertina Jamboree.  Food and Beverages available.  All proceeds raised go to the MMHOF.  

    4. Cosmos Hot Dish Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cosmos is hosting a bake sale and Hot Dish Supper on Sunday, March 2nd from 4:30-7 pm at the church.  Enjoy Casseroles, Meatballs, Pickles, Jello, Bread, Dessert and beverage.  All proceeds go to the bulding/repair fund.

    1. Dad’s Belgian Waffles in Winsted
      4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

      The Holy Trinity Cafeteria in Winsted will be the site for Dad’s Belgian Waffles.  The dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th, with serving from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm.  Enjoy all you can eat waffles.  Also serving:  strawberries, toppings, sausage and beverage.  A Silent Auction will be held in conjunction with the dinner.  Tickets are $7.00 in advance and $7.50 at the door. Kids 5 and under eat for free.  Take-outs will be available.  The event is sponsored by the Holy Trinity Mission Group.

      The Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary will be hosting a spaghetti supper on Thursday, March 6 at the Legion Club Room (use east entrance).  Serving from 4:30 – 7 pm.  Adults are $6.50, Children under 12 are $3.  Take Outs available.

    1. SL Fish Fry

      The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus is having their 52nd annual Fish Fry on Friday, March 7th at the SL Auditorium.  Cost is $9 in advance, $10 at the door, $5 for Children under 10, and under 4 are free.  Serving all you can eat from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  Carry outs available, plus enter for Raffle Prizes, and Door Prizes.  

    2. Cosmos Community Theatre
      6:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Cosmos Community Theatre presents No Body Like Jimmy during its annual dinner performances March 7, 8 and 9 at the Cosmos Legion. Tickets for the meal and performance are $15 and must be purchased by Feb. 28.  The play will be performed three times: 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights and 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the meal served one hour before. Walk-in tickets for the play only will be available at the door for $5. Tickets can be purchased from cast members, at the Cosmos Legion, or by calling 320.877.7419.  The event is supported by the Cosmos Lions.

    3. DC Community Theatre
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      Dassel Cokato Community Theatre presents “The Foreigner” on March 7, 8, and 9th…plus March 13, 14, and 15th…at the Dassel History Center.  There will be 5 Dessert performances, plus one Dinner Theatre (3/15).  14 local actors take part in the show.  Tickets are available online at the DC School website, phone (320-286-4120), or in person at the DC Community Ed office at the High School.  

    4. The Cats Pajamas at WM
      7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Watertown Mayer HS Music Department presents the acapella group “the Cat’s Pajama’s” (as seen on NBC’s Sing Off) on Friday, March 7th at 7:30 pm.  This is a rescheduled show from their original snow out in January.  Advance Tickets will be honored, at the door seats are $10 for adults, $5 for Students.  Proceeds benefit the WM Music Department.

    1. Master Gardeners Program
      8:00 am – 3:00 pm

      The Carver-Scott Master Gardeners present “Garden Fever” on Saturday, March 8th at the Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center in Chaska from 8 am – 3 pm.  Hear a number of programs and session dealing with all things gardening.  Cost is $40 before Feb 28th, $45 after Feb 28th, and it includes breakfast and buffet lunch.  Register online or get more info at carverscottmastergardeners.org. 

    2. Laxen Benefit
      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      You’re invited to a Benefit for Jessica Laxen on Saturday, March 8th at the Blue Note Ballroom of Winsted.  The benefit includes a spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and bake sale and runs from 4-7 pm.  Music is provided by the band RIZE featuring Jason Dieter.  

    3. Phoenix Drumline Distant Drums
      6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      The Phoenix Drumline presents Distant Drums 2014 on Saturday, March 8th at 6 pm at the Hutchinson High School Gym.  The event is a Minnesota Percussion Association Drumline Competition and Exhibition.  Advance Tickets are available at the Hutchinson Center for the Arts, or Tickets are available at the door.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for Students, under 5 free.  Concessions available.

    1. Lentsch Benefit
      9:30 am – 12:30 pm

      You’re invited to a Dad’s Belgian Waffles and Silent Auction benefit honoring Michael Lentsch on Sunday, March 9th from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm at the BLHS Elementary School.  Cost is a free will donation.  Live Auction for items starts at Noon, while the Silent Auction runs the entire time.  Proceeds benefit Mike, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in January.
