    1. Pancake Breakfast
      8:00 am – 11:00 am

      There will be a pancake (reg or blueberry), french toast, eggs, sausage (links or patties) and beverage breakfast Sun Mar 18 at the KC hall in Waverlyfrom 8 to 11 am. Proceeds are for Scholarships. Cost is a freewill offering.

    2. Spring Brunch
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Glencoe Lions Club invites you to their Annual “All You Care to Eat” Spring Brunch on Sunday, March 18th at the Pla-Mor Ballroom, Glencoe, serving from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. With take-outs available. Menu includes: Pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs, 100% pure maple syrup, fruit, juice, toast, coffee and milk. Advance Adult tickets are $10.00 and are available at Coborn’s Foods, Franklin Printing and from Lions Club Members. Prices at the door are Adults – $11.00, Children (age 4 – 10) $5.00, and children age three and under eat FREE. Proceeds will be used toward community projects. Collection boxes will also be available for your used eyeglasses, sunglasses and hearing aids.

      9:30 am – 12:30 pm

      The Plato Lions Club has it’s annual Spring Brunch on Sunday, March 18th from 9:30a-12:30p at the Plato Hall. All you can eat Pancakes, Sausages, Egges and more for a free will donation. Proceeds go to community projects.

    4. Chili and Soup Dinner
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Brownton Congregational Church has their annual Chili and Soup Dinner on Sunday, March 18th from 10a-1p. Serving Chili or Chicken Wild Rice Soup, Dessert, and Beverage. Take outs available.  

    5. Alasakan Soup and Bread Lunch
      10:30 am – 12:30 pm

      Enjoy an authentic Alasakan Soup and Bread Lunch on Sunday, March 18th at the Peace Lutheran Church of Hutchinson. Serving Moose and Cabbage Soup, Chicken Spaetzel Soup, Assorted Breads, Wild Berry Dessert, and Beverage. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for Children 3-10. Proceeds support the Alaskan Mission Project.

      The Hector United Methodist Church has their Soup and Salad Luncheon on Wednesday, March 21st starting at 11 am. Adults are $10, Preschool ages is free.

    2. Hutch Legion Auxiliary
      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Unit 96 Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary will hold it March Regular Meeting on March 21st at Hutchinson VFW Post 906 at 7pm, a meal is available for purchase before the meeting at 6pm at the VFW.

    1. GSL ECFE Barnyard Program
      10:30 am – 11:30 am

      GSL ECFE is having a Barnyard Fun Day on Thursday, March 22nd from 10:30-11:30 am. Kids ages 1-Kindergarten entry are welcome for stories, crafts, songs and other activities. The day also includes a visit to the GSL FFA Barnyard. Tution is free but they ask you consider donating to the Mcleod Emergency Food Shelf. Register by calling the ECFE office at 320-864-2681.

      The Brownton Lions Fish Fry is coming up Friday, March 23rd at the Brownton Community Center from 4-8 pm. Adults are $11, Kids in Grades K-6 are $5. Proceeds go to Community Projects.

    1. GSL ECFE Spring Fling
      9:00 am – 10:30 am

      The GSL ECFE presents the Kids Spring Fling on Saturday, March 24th from 9a-10:30a at Unhinged Pizza in Glencoe. Join for Bounce Houses, glitter tattoos, Egg Hunt, prizes, games, free hot breakfast, and photos with the easter bunny. Activities are geared toward children 0-5 years old but older siblings are welcome. Preregister by calling the GSL ECFE at 320-864-2681

      The Stewart Lions Annual Kid’s Easter Party and Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, March 25th from 9a-12:30pm at the Stewart Fire Hall. All you can eat Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, and more for a Free Will Donation. Proceeds go to local projects.

      St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Isle presents their annual Smoked Ham and Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 25th from 10:30a-1p. Serving Pancakes, Eggs, Ham and more for a Free Will Offering. Proceeds go to building repairs at the church.

      The Winsted Catholic Order of Foresters Chicken Dinner is Sunday, March 25th from 10:30-1 p at the Blue Note Ballroom of Winsted. Tickets are $11 in advance, $12 at the door, Children 6-10 are $5. Serving Chicken, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Cole Slaw and more! Proceeds benefit the Holy Trinity School Girls Locker Room Renovation Project.

      The Brownton Womens Club Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, March 31st at 10 am at the Brownton Community Center. Ages Toddler to 3rd grade are welcome to come collect eggs, get a treat bag and prizes. Refreshments are served and you can take photos with the Easter Bunny! Free admission.

      The Mcleod Alliance for Victims of Domestic Violence is having a Supply Drive now until April 5th. Items needed include: Kleenex, Bathroom Tissue, Diapers, Baby Wipes, Feminine Products, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Hair Brushes and more.       The 27th annual HLWW Spring ECFE Garage Sale is Saturday, April 7th from 9a-Noon at the HLWW Middle School Activity Center. Multiple Familes selling Children’s Clothes, Maternity Clothes, Accessories, Books, Toys and more! No admission fee to Shop. For seller space call 320-543-4670. and from10-11 am there will be free craft activities for kids. Each child takes home a bucket and shovel.

      The Friends of the Hutchinson Library has their Used Book Sale on Saturday, April 7th from 10a-3p in the meeting room of the Library.

    4. Blue Bird Day

      Gopher Campfire presents their Bluebird Day on Saturday, April 7th from Noon-3pm at the Clubhouse losted 7 miles NE of Hutchinson. Just bring a Hammer and you can make a Birdhouse, along with learning about bluebirds and different kinds of bird houses. Free Lunch, Wild life displays and more are a part of the Free event!

      12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Litchfield Wetland Management District of the US Fish & Wildlife Service will host “Habitat Day 2018” on Saturday, April 7 th , from 12:00 – 4:00pm in Litchfield. The event has a variety of offerings for all ages who are interested in wildlife and habitat in our area. This event is free! Coloring books, posters, and an assortment of wildlife related materials and educational displays for all ages will be available throughout the afternoon. Special guests at the event include the Wildlife Wizard who will quiz children and adults on the wildlife and habitat of the area as well as Pheasants Forever, Inc., FWS Partners Program, MN Honey Producers Association, and FWS Migratory Birds who will have booths

    6. Toast for a Cure
      1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Sibley County Relay for Life has their Toast for a Cure Beer and Wine Tasting on Saturday, April 7th from 1-4 pm at the Henderson Road Haus. Tickets are $30 each, with special pricing for Designated Drivers $10 for Burger Bar and Soda. Tickets available from any Sibley County Relay for Life Team Member or call 612-418-6880.
