    1. Nobel Shadduck Festival
      11:00 am – 3:00 pm

      Pioneer Park in Annandale is hosting its annual Nobel Shadduck Harvest Fest in honor of the Park’s founder on Saturday, September 26, from 11-3. Fun for all including giant bouncing dragon, K-9 demonstration, spelling bee, games for kids, bake sale, white elephant sale, museum buildings open for touring. FREE WAGON RIDES AL DAY!  The Park’s famous stew and corn bread meal is available for purchase. Kids admitted free.

    2. Airing of the Quilts
      12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

      St. John’s Lutheran Church of Plato is having their Airing of the Quilts on Saturday, Sept. 26th.  Viewing begins at 12:30 pm, Dr. Kristine Knudten will be speaking at 1:30 pm.  There will be dessert and beverages served throughout the event for a free will offering.

    1. Roast Beef Dinner
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The New Auburn Lions invite you to their annual Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, Sept. 27th from 10a-1p at the New Auburn City Hall.  Serving Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Cole Slaw, and more.  Adults are $11, Children 5-10 are $7.  

    2. Pork Loin Dinner
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      St. Boniface Catholic Church of Stewart is hosting a Pork Lion Dinner, Sunday, Sept. 27th from 10:30a-1p.  The day starts off with a mass featuring the BASICS at 9:15 am.  Cost for the meal is $9 for adults, $5 for ages 4-10, and an extra loin is $2.  Take outs available.  Also, shop the Country Store, take part in the raffle, Silent Auction, Kids Games, and more!

    3. Special Night of Praise
      6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

      On Sunday, September 27th at 6 pm there will be a “Special Night of Praise” at the Grace Bible Church of Silver Lake. Various church musicians and singers will lead in worship and share specials. This special praise service will last about an hour and include both contemporary and traditional selections. The public is invited to attend, and there is no charge.

    1. LP Paper Drive
      9:00 am – 10:00 am

      Paper Drive at Bethel Lutheran Church, Lester Prairie from Sept 30th-Oct 15th.  Bring your items to the Trailer at the Church Parking Lot. Bring your Paper, Catalogs, Phone Books, Cardboard, and Shredded Paper.  Please No Strings or Plastic Around Paper and No Pizza Boxes with food on.

    1. Fall Festival
      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      United Lutheran Church of Lake Lillian is hosting their Fall Festival on Thursday, Oct 1st.  Bake, Craft and Produce Sale from 4-7 pm, Meatball Supper from 5-7 pm.  Cost is $9 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12, and under 5 is free.  Serving Meatballs, Potatoes, Veggies, Coleslaw and more!

    1. Scarecrow Night
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The GSL ECFE is presenting their Scarecrow Night on Friday, Oct 2nd from 6-7 pm at their Learning Center.  Make a scarecrow…you bring a glue gun, coverall, shirt, pantyhose for the head….they’ll provide the innards and items for the face.  No charge for the event, just bring a donation for the Food Shelf.

    1. Dad’s Belgian Waffle Feed
      8:00 am – 11:00 am

      It’s a Dad’s Belgian Waffle Feed on Saturday, Oct 3rd rom 8-11 am at the Dassel History Center.  Serving Waffles, Sausages, Toppings and Beverages.  Cost is $8 for Adults, $5 for kids under 12.  

    2. Fall Bazaar
      8:30 am – 1:30 pm

      Holy Trinity of Winsted has their Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Oct 3rd from 8:30a-1:30p.  Serving breakfast at 8:30 am (Egg Bake, Rolls, Beverage), and Lunch from 10:30-1:30 pm (Chili, Hot Dogs, Pie, and more)  Also shop the Bake Sale, Craft Sale, and Silent Auction.  There will be Games for all ages, Plants and Produce sale, Cook Books for Sale, and area crafters and business booths.

    3. Henderson Heritage Days
      10:00 am – 4:00 pm

      It’s Henderson Heritage Days Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday History Comes alive from 10a-4p at the Community Square Park.  Sunday at 11:15 am it’s a Bender Park Worship and Fellowship.  Food available for purchase after the service.  Food, Shopping, Music, tours and more this weekend!

    4. Grand Opening
      1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

      Minnesota Pioneer Park in Annandale is having the Grand Opening of the Gordon Memorial Library on Saturday Oct. 3 from 1-3PM.  See a Program and refreshments are served.  Free to everyone. Door prizes.

    5. SL All School Reunion
      2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

      Silver Lake is having an All School Reunion for the Silver Lake Lakeites on Saturday Oct 3 from 2-5 pm at the SL Auditorium.  All Silver Lake Graduates are invited to attend.

    6. Plato Oktoberfest
      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Plato Lions are having their Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct 3rd from 4-7 pm at the King Pin Pub.  Serving Brats, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, and Apple Dessert.  Proceeds donated to the Plato Fire Dept.

    1. Fall BBQ
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      LWML Fall BBQ at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hamburg is coming up Sunday, October 4 from 10:30a-1p. Menu consists of BBQs, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips pickles, dessert and beverage.  Cost is $7.00 for adults; $4.00 children 4-10, and free for children under the age of 4.  Take outs available.

    2. Pork Chop Fundraiser
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St. Johns Lutheran Church  of Mountville will be having their fall Harvest Windsor Pork Chop and country store fundraiser on Sunday Oct 4, 2015 at the Gaylord American Legion Club.  Serving will be from  11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
      On the Menu:  Windsor pork Chops, Cheesy Hash browns, vegetable, apple sauce, bread, bars and beverages. Cost for Adults  $10.00, Children 5 – 10  $5.00, 4 and under Free. Tickets available at the door and Take outs are available.

    3. Stauffer Benefit
      11:00 am – 6:00 pm

      Christ Community Lutheran School of Watertown is hosting a benefit for the Stauffer Family on Sunday, Oct 4th from 11a-6p.  Pork Roast Meal served for $12, Entertainment from Dale Grove and the Jason Paulson Band, Games and Activities and more!  Proceeds benefit the medical costs of the Stauffer Family.

      St. Peter Lutheran Church of Watertown is having their Fall Salad Luncheon and Bake Sale Saturday, Oct 10th from 11a-12:30p.  All are welcome.

    2. Dassel Pork Chop Feed
      5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Dassel Fire Dept is having their Pork Chop Feed on Friday, October 9th from 5-8 pm at the Fire Hall. Cost is $7 for those 11 and older, $5 for ages 5-10, and under 5 is free, extra chop is $2.

    1. More than a Prophet
      9:00 am – 10:30 am

      Anara Pixler, originally from Kazakhstan and now a pastor’s wife in Glencoe, will be speaking at Oak Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson Oct 10 at 9am. The theme of her message will be “More Than a Prophet”. Anara is a former Muslim who became a Christian fourteen years ago. Refreshments will be served. Childcare is available. A freewill offering will be taken. Everyone is welcome!!

    2. Fall Mission Fair
      10:00 am – 2:00 pm

      Peace Lutheran Church of Hutchinson has their Fall Mission Fair on Saturday, Oct 10th from 10a-2p.  There will be Food Booths, Games, Contests, Country Store, Canning booth, Arts and Crafts, Bakery and More!  All proceeds used for Missions.

    3. Power of the Purse
      10:30 am – 4:00 pm

      Litchfield Area Empower and the United Way of West Central Minnesota invite you to join them for “Power of the Purse” at Peter’s on Lake Ripley on Saturday, October 10th from 10:30 am to 4 pm. Tickets are $45, and include an appetizer lunch and drink tickets. It’s a fantastic day of home tours, silent and live purse auctions, great food, great wine and great company!     4. Obstacle Challenge and Scavenger Hunt
      12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Dassel Saddle Club presents their Fall Harvest Obstacle Challenge and Savenger Hunt on Saturday, Oct 10th from Noon-4pm.  Do the Course on horseback or on foot, there will be drawings for door prizes.

    5. Hotdish Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Montrose Methodist Church is hosting its annual Hotdish Supper on Sat Oct 10th from4:30 to 7 pm.  Featuring appetizers, salads, hotdish & beverage.  Adults $10; kids 5 to 10 $5; 4 and under free.  (dessert available for an additional $1)   Supper will be served in the church fellowship hall and is handicap accessible.  

    6. Sons of Norway presentation
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The public is invited to join the Sons of Norway this Saturday, October 10th from 6p-7p at CrossPoint Church in Hutchinson for Dr. Lawrence Moe’s presentation, ”Carl Ben Eielson: The Norwegian-American Lindbergh.     1. Dad’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast
      8:30 am – 12:30 pm

      The New Germany Commercial Club will be hosting their annual Dad’s Belgian Waffle   Breakfast on Sunday, October 11 at the city hall from 8:30 AM  to 12:30 PM.  The meal will include all the waffles you can eat with  the  many delicious toppings and the Schroeder Breakfast sausages.  Advance tickets are available $8.00 each or $9.00 at the door,  contact Shirley Jaeger  952-353-2208 .  Proceeds are for park beautification and the annual childrens holiday parties.  Everyone welcome!

    2. Fall Brunch
      8:30 am – 12:00 pm

      The Silver Lake Lions Club is having their Fall Brunch on Sunday, Oct 11th from 8:30a-Noon at the SL Auditorium.  On the menu is Eggs, Pancakes, Sausage, Fruit and Beverage.  Adults are $7, Under 12 is $3.  Proceeds support the SL Lions Football Program.  Also bring an item for the Food Shelf.  

    3. Baked Chicken Dinner
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      You are invited to the Baked Chicken Dinner with all the fixings at St. James Lutheran Church of Howard Lake on Sunday, Oct 11th.  Dinner served from 11a-1p in the Fellowship Hall.  Shop the Craft and Bake Sale for goodies and hand crafted items.  Tickets: $12 for adults, $8 for Grads K-6, and Preschool is $1.  

    4. St. John’s Mission Festival
      11:00 am – 2:00 pm

      St. John’s of Winsted is having their Mission Festival and Hog Roast Dinner on Sunday, Oct 11th from 11a-2p.  Take Outs are available.  Proceeds support St. John’s Panama Mission Trip, Confirmation Camp and Stephen Ministry.  Come early for worship at 10 am with guest preacher Rev. Mark Moss, LCMS Missionary to West Africa.
