    1. Bingo
      5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Hamburg Lions Fall Bingo is Friday Nov 17th. Doors open at 5:30 bingo begins at 7p .  Prizes include Turkeys, Hams &  Sausages. Meat raffle also available. Concessions & bar on site.  $8 for 25 games of bingo.

    2. Fun Night and Raffle
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Brownton American Legion’s annual Fun Night and Raffle is on Friday, Nov. 17th at 7 pm at the Brownton Community Center. Drawings for Cash Prizes, plus Hams, Turkeys, Ducks and more!

    3. Plato Poultry Party
      7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Plato Bluejays Poultry Party is Friday, Nov. 17th at the Plato Hall. Games, Paddle Wheel, Door Prizes, Bingo and more! Hamburger and Pop proceeds go to St Paul’s UCC Mission.

    1. Craft Fair
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The Litchfield Opera House has their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov 18th from 9a-2p. Free Admission, Snack and Coffee Bar, and Unique Homemade Crafts.  

    2. Fine Arts and Craft Expo
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The 39th annual FINE ARTS EXPO and 37th annual CREATIVE CRAFTS FAIR will be held Saturday, November 18, 9 am-2 pm in the Activity Center HLWW Middle School. Free admission. There will be 90+ artists and craft persons exhibiting their works for sale. No admission fee, bring friends and family. Food stand, bake sale and prizes.

    3. Christmas Bazaar
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Hector United Methodist Church has their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 18th starting at 2 pm. Stop by to shop the Candy, Country Stroe, Baked Goods, and more! Cake and Coffee Served.

    1. Little Crow and the Dakota War
      4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

      Back by popular demand the Mcleod County Historical Society will have their second showing of the Documentary “Little Crow and the Dakota War” on Sunday, Nov. 19th starting at 4 pm at the State Theatre of Hutchinson. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12. In addition the Director and Producer of the movie will be on hand for a Q and A Session after the movie.  

    2. Lutefisk Supper
      4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

      The Zion Lutheran Church of Buffalo Lake invites you to their Lutefisk and Swedish Meatball Supper on Sunday, Nov. 19th from 4:30-6:30 pm. Cost is $15 for adults, $8 for kids ages 5-12. Take outs available.

    3. Oyster Stew
      5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

      St John’s Lutheran Church of Atwater is having an Oyster Stew and Soup Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 19th at the church. Serving Oyster Stew, Wild Rice Soup, Wisconsin Cheese Soup, Ham Sandwiches and more from 5-7:30 pm. Cost is a free will offering, proceeds to the church Sunday School.

    1. Thanksgiving with the DAV
      11:30 am – 1:00 pm

      Celebrate Thanksgiving with the DAV and its Auxiliary in Hutchinson on Thursday, Nov. 23rd.  They’re serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner from 11:30a-1p at Peace Lutheran Church’s Peace Center, 400 Franklin Street in Hutchinson.  Free to those that are alone or have no one to spend the holiday with. Any Donations received go to Veterans Services. Transportation, Take Outs or Deliveries are available by calling 587-1000 before the 23rd.

    1. DC Holiday Show
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Dassel-Cokato Arts Association proudly welcomes the Six Appeal Vocal Band’s “Ugly Sweater Party” to the Dassel-Cokato Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 25, at 7:00 PM! Advance reserved seat tickets are $20/Adults and $8/Youth, ages 2-18. (Tickets sold at the door will be $2/each more.) Tickets are available online at http://pac.dc.k12.mn.us Tickets are also sold through the Dassel-Cokato Community Education office, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. For tickets or for more information call 320-286- 4120. Tickets will be available at the door, beginning at 6 PM on November 25.

      The Mcleod County Historical Society presents an author book presentation on “First Dassel Battlefield Casualty in WW1”. The author Senator Steve Dille will make his presentation at 7 pm at the Museum.

    1. Legion Auxiliary Meeting
      6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Hutchinson American Legion Auxiliary has their November Regular meeting on Wednesday, November 29th at the Hutchinson VFW Post 906  at 7pm.  Dinner can be purchased before the meeting at 6pm.  They will be voting on some important things at the November meeting so they ask you to Please come and make your voice heard.

      The First Congregational Church of Glencoe has their Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Lefse, rosettes, krumkake, cookies, candy, baked goods, crafts and gifts. Lunch of hot pork sandwiches, homemade soup and pie, – Take-outs available. Santa’s Attic – “new” used items and Live Music.

      St Johns Lutheran Church of Annandale has their Holiday Fair from 9a-1p. Shop the Bakery, Crafts, Fresh Lefse and More! Lunch served of Sloppy Joes,Pie and more! Everyone is welcome.

      Christ the King Lutheran Church of Hutchinson is holding their annual Trees and Traditions on Saturday, Dec 2nd from 9a-2p. View decorated trees, table settings, and more. Shop the country store, Bake Shoppe and Silent Auction, and get lefse and krumkaka demonstrations. Light Lunch available for a free will donation from 11a-1:30p.

      St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Hector invites you to their Advent Brunch on Saturday, Dec 2nd at 9:30 am. Music by Christine Schluz and Bryce Stenzel follows the brunch. Everyone is welcome!

    10. Kids Only Craft Sale

      the NYA Girl Scouts are having a Kids Only Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday, Dec 2nd from 10a-1:30p at Central HS in NYA. Sale is open to Children Only from 10-1, then adults may help Children the last half hour. All items are $3 or less and wrapped at sale.

      St Mary’s of Waverly is holding their annual Cookie Walk and Boutique on Saturday, Dec 2nd from 10a-1p at St Mary’s Fellowship Hall. Chili Lunch available for a free will offering, shop for gifts, cookies and Candy!

    12. Singing Friends Chorus
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Singing Friends Chorus will present two Christmas concerts this season:   Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Glencoe, and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 pm at Church of Peace in Norwood.  The concert features well-known Christmas carols, spirituals, popular songs, and modern arrangements of traditional favorites. Admission is by free will offering, with a reception to follow. 

    13. Theme Basket Auction
      3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

      St Mary’s Church of Bird Island is holding their Theme Basket Silent Auction, Bake Sale and Meal on Saturday and Sunday, Dec 2nd and 3rd. Bake Sale and Silent Auction on Saturday from 3-6 pm and Sunday 9:30-12:15 p. Meal for Free Will offering following Saturday Mass.

    1. Living Water Puppets
      1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

      On Sunday, December 3rd beginning at 1:00 pm The Living Water Puppets of Grace Bible Church will be putting on a special Christmas presentation titled, “It Happened in the Country.”  Young children will especially enjoy the puppets.  There is no charge—and the public is invited to attend.  

    2. Alive and Kickin
      2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Watertown Area Fine Arts Council is pleased to present Alive & Kickin in concert at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown, MN on Sunday, December 3rd at 2:00 pm. The concert is free to the public. A free will offering and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected to benefit Friends For Life Foodshelf.     3. BASICS Holiday Concert
      3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

      The BASICS have their Holiday Concert Benefit on Sunday, December 3rd at St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Stewart at 3 pm. Join for an afternoon of music, Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Light Lunch and more with all proceeds going to Chrystal Milbrandt and her battle with thyroid cancer.

      3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

      Christmas Concert Benefit for Chrystal Milbrandt will be Sunday, Dec 3rd at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Stewart. The BASICS perform at 3 pm, Hot Sandwich Meal at 4:30 pm for a Free Will Offering. Also dont forget to bid at the Silent Auction.
