The Singing Friends Chorus will present two Christmas concerts this season: Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Glencoe, and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 pm at Church of Peace in Norwood. The concert features well-known Christmas carols, spirituals, popular songs, and modern arrangements of traditional favorites. Admission is by free will offering, with a reception to follow.

On Sunday, December 3rd beginning at 1:00 pm The Living Water Puppets of Grace Bible Church will be putting on a special Christmas presentation titled, “It Happened in the Country.” Young children will especially enjoy the puppets. There is no charge—and the public is invited to attend.

The GSL ECFE has a Holiday Workshop on Tuesday, Dec 5th from 10:30-11:30am or 6-7 pm. The event is for kids ages 1 to Kindergarten entry and their familes. The Singing Friends Chorus is a 32-voice SATB community choir that rehearses in Norwood Young America and performs regularly in McLeod, Carver and Sibley counties. The chorus will start rehearsing for its 14th spring concert season on Tuesday, January 16th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at All Saints Lutheran Church in NYA. New and prospective choir members are encouraged to join the choir at open rehearsals on January 16th or 23rd to see what it’s all about.
