  1. Feb

    1. Year End Banquet
      5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Tri County Riders have their Year End Banquet on Saturday, Feb 24th at the Mayer Community Hall. 5 pm Social Hour, 6 pm Meal, 8 pm Program. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children. Take the time to Mingle with fellow club members, pay your 2018 dues, and check out the Silent Auction.  

    2. Beer Bust Fundraiser
      6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      The 4th annual Beer Bust Fundraiser and Dinner will be Saturday, Feb 24th from 6-10 pm at the King Pin Pub in Plato. Proceeds raised support MN Canine Search, Rescue and Tracking. Help bring home he lost and missing while listening to DJ Dr. Fun and taking part in the Silent Auction.

    1. Veterans Breakfast
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Support Veterans with a Breakfast Buffet at Mug Shots in Cosmos on Sunday, Feb 25th from 9a-Noon. Free Will Donation supports Veterans, their familes, and communities. 

    2. Wild Game Feed
      5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Members and friends of the Grace Bible Church of Silver Lake will be hosting  a special Wild Game Feed on Sunday, February 25th beginning at 5:30 pm.  The evening will include such things as: alligator, venison, a variety of pheasant dishes (as well as other wild and not so wild game), door prizes, a “Bird Dog Parade”, and guest speaker River Dan (Dan Ryks). Dan is a passionate Walleye guide (www.riverdansguideservice.com) whose story has been featured on Ron Schara’s  Minnesota Bound TV show.  Cost is a $5 dollar donation per ticket and may be purchased, or reserved by calling the church office (320)327-2352.  The public is invited to attend, and only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

      Eat Wings Raise Funds at Buffalo Wild Wings Hutchinson for Hutchinson Dollars for Scholars on Monday, February 26th from 11am to 9pm! Dine in or takeout to help this organization raise money for scholarships!

      The Next meeting of Today’s Women of Hutchinson will be Thursday, March 1st at Harmony River in Hutchinson starting at 6:30 pm in the lower level.

    1. Polar Bear Plunge
      8:00 am – 9:00 am

      Support Hutchinson Special Olympics by helping donate to the Polar Bear Plunge the team is taking part in on Friday, March 2nd in Minneapolis. Every dollar donated supports Hutchinson SO Athletes in Track, Bowling, and Basketball. You can donate by going to: reg.plungemn.org/team/hutchtigers 

    2. SL Fish Fry
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus Fish Fry is Friday, March 2nd at the SL Auditorium from 4:30-7 pm (or until the fish are gone). Serving all you can eat for $11 in advance ($12 at the door), Children under 10 are $5, and under 4 is free.

    1. Lake Wobegon Brass Band Concert
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      Lake Wobegon Brass Band will be performing on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 7 pm at the Watertown-Mayer Performing Arts Center. Tickets: Adults $ 10, Students$ 5 . Available at door or Marketplace.

      The Zion Lutheran Church of Cologne has their Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction on Sunday, March 4th from 9a-Noon. Cost is $8, 5 and under are free.

    2. Silent Auction and Luncheon
      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      First Lutheran School of Glencoe’s annual Silent Auction and Luncheon is Sunday, March 4th at the Church Fellowship Center. Silent Auction from 9a-1p, Live Auction at 1 pm. Pulled Pork Sandwich Luncheon served from 11a-1p. More info at firstglencoe.org

      The Hutchinson Concert Association presents “Roy and Rosemary”, A Pops Violen and Piano Duet on Monday, March 5th at 7 pm at St Anastasia Catholic Church. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $20. For more info call 587-5842

      The Winsted Fish Fry is Friday, March 9th at the Blue Note Ballroom presented by the KC Council of Winsted. Serving 3:30-7 pm for $12 for adults in advance ($13 at the door), Children 6-10 are $6.

    2. Beer and Hymns
      6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      Enjoy a Beer and Hymns event on Friday March 9th at the Buffalo Lake Liquor Store from 7-9pm. Serving Pork Chop Sandwiches, Cheesy Potatoes, Beans and Chips for $8 per plate from 6-7:30 pm. Proceeds benefit the Zion Lutheran Church Improvement Fund.

    1. Foster Parent Orientation
      9:00 am – 3:00 pm

      Mcleod County Social Services is hosting a Foster Parent Orientation on Saturday, March 10th from 9a-3p at the Solid Waste Management Building in Hutchinson. The meeting is an opportunity to learn about the Foster Care Program and ask questions, to decide if it may be right for you.     2. Indoor Mini Golf
      10:00 am – 4:00 pm

      Come golf the Indoor Mini Golf Course on Saturday, March 10th at the Hutchinson Event Center. This Senior Center Fundraiser is family friendly, with doors opening at 10 am. Cost is $5 per 9 holes, $1 each for additional rounds. Also take part in the golf trainer, ladder golf, bean bag toss and more!

    3. March Mayhem
      6:00 pm – 11:30 pm

      The French Lake Wrestling Association presents MARCH MAYHEM on Saturday, March 10th at Generations Ballroom in Kimball. Doors open at 6, Meet and Greet at 7, Bell time at 8 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance $12 at the door, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Kimball Schools.

      The Hutchinson Robotics team will be hosting a Breakfast Buffet at the Elks Lodge on Sunday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy all you care to eat sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, pancakes, tropical fruit cocktail, and soft a cakes — coffee and juice included. $8 presale from a Hutchinson Robotic team member or $9 at door.

Lester Prairie,Mn   is   Hosting  the Mid-Minnesota  Concert Band and Luncheon  ,Sunday,March  11th,2018     The Band will feature music from many eras.       You’re invited to a benefit for Lauren Ash and Sammy Mayland on Sunday, March 11th at the Hutchinson Rec Center from Noon-4 pm. Enjoy Many fun kids activities, taco in a bag, and a raffle. Proceeds benefit the two girls who are both battling Leukemia.

      The Renville County All Ag Celebration is Monday, March 19th at the Island Ballroom of Bird Island. Social hour at 5 pm, Pork Chop Dinner at 6 pm. The Renville Count Distinguished Service award and the Farm Family of the Year will be awarded at the banquet.

      The United Way of Mcleod County invites you to a program “Songblast: Dueling Guitars” at the Hutchinson Event Center on Friday, March 16th at 7 pm. Tickets are $25. All proceeds benefit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Mcleod County. For more info visit their Facebook Page.

      There will be a pancake (reg or blueberry), french toast, eggs, sausage (links or patties) and beverage breakfast Sun Mar 18 at the KC hall in Waverlyfrom 8 to 11 am. Proceeds are for Scholarships. Cost is a freewill offering.

    2. Spring Brunch
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Glencoe Lions Club invites you to their Annual “All You Care to Eat” Spring Brunch on Sunday, March 18th at the Pla-Mor Ballroom, Glencoe, serving from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. With take-outs available. Menu includes: Pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs, 100% pure maple syrup, fruit, juice, toast, coffee and milk. Advance Adult tickets are $10.00 and are available at Coborn’s Foods, Franklin Printing and from Lions Club Members. Prices at the door are Adults – $11.00, Children (age 4 – 10) $5.00, and children age three and under eat FREE. Proceeds will be used toward community projects. Collection boxes will also be available for your used eyeglasses, sunglasses and hearing aids.

      The Plato Lions Club has it’s annual Spring Brunch on Sunday, March 18th from 9:30a-12:30p at the Plato Hall. All you can eat Pancakes, Sausages, Egges and more for a free will donation. Proceeds go to community projects.

    4. Chili and Soup Dinner
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Brownton Congregational Church has their annual Chili and Soup Dinner on Sunday, March 18th from 10a-1p. Serving Chili or Chicken Wild Rice Soup, Dessert, and Beverage. Take outs available.  

    5. Alasakan Soup and Bread Lunch
      10:30 am – 12:30 pm

      Enjoy an authentic Alasakan Soup and Bread Lunch on Sunday, March 18th at the Peace Lutheran Church of Hutchinson. Serving Moose and Cabbage Soup, Chicken Spaetzel Soup, Assorted Breads, Wild Berry Dessert, and Beverage. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for Children 3-10. Proceeds support the Alaskan Mission Project.
