    1. Alzheimers Support Group
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The next meeting of the local area support group for adult children, spouses, and friends caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory loss will meet Tuesday, November 12 at 6:00 PM. Please contact Kristal Ehrke, Alzheimer’s Association volunteer facilitator, at (320) 583-1551 for more information. The group meets at 1st Lutheran Church at 925 E. 13th Street in Glencoe, on the second Tuesday of every month, at 6:00 PM. The support group is open to the public and free of charge.

    1. Holiday Open House
      5:00 pm – 2:00 pm

      Join the Emmaus Gift Shop for their Holiday Open House on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 15/16) at Ecumen of Litchfield.  Hours Friday 5-8 pm and Saturday from 9 am – 2 pm.  They’ll have gifts, holiday decorations, and more.  Bake Sale is Saturday starting at 9 am.  Saturday also includes music, cookies, coffee, and cider.

    2. Cosmos Legion Turkey Supper
      5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      You are invited to the Cosmos Legion for a Turkey Supper on Friday, Nov. 15th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.  Cost is $10 and includes Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Vegetable, Dessert, and beverage.

    1. Dads Belgian Waffle Benefit
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      Dad’s Belgian Waffles are served on Saturday, Nov. 16th at the Buffalo Lake Community Center from 10 am to 1 pm to benefit Carol Weispfennig.  Carol is battling Cancer, and this meal will assist with her medical expenses.  Cost is just a free will donation for all you can eat! 

    2. Olson Cancer Benefit
      11:00 am – 3:00 pm

      You’re invited to the Cody Olson Cancer Benefit on Saturday, Nov. 16th at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson.  The event runs from 11 am to 3 pm in the Agribition building.  Food served that day include a Turkey Sandwich, Corn, and Cold Salad OR Chicken Nuggets and Fries.  Adults are $7,Children 12 and younger are $5.  Also that day is a silent auction, wine grab, carnival games, bounce house, and a cupcake decorating station.  All proceeds go to the medical bills of the Olson’s as young cody fights Leukemia.

    1. Phoenix Drumline Breakfast
      8:00 am – 12:00 pm

      The Phoenix Drumline is holding a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 17th from 8 am – Noon at the Hutchinson Elks Lodge.  It’s an all you can eat breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, fruit, and beverage.  Cost is $6 per person.  Tickets available from any Phoenix Drumline member or at Schmeling Oil Co. in Hutchinson.

    2. Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup Sale
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      St. Anthony’s Church in Watkins is holding their Bouja and Chicken Noodle Soup Sale on Sunday, Nov. 17th from 8 am to noon at the church.  Bouja is $12/gallon, Chicken Noodle Soup is $11/Gallon.

    3. Holy Trinity’s Misson Group Breakfast
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Holy Trinity of Winsted’s Mission Group is holding a breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 17th from 9 am to Noon in the Holy Trinity cafeteria in Winsted.  On the Menu:  Egg Bake, Country Potatoes, Homemade Pastries, Fruit, and Beverage.  Cost is just a free will offering.

    4. Monthly Pancake Brunch
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Cedar Mills Rod and Gun Club invites you to their monthly Pancake Brunch on Sunday, Nov. 17th from 9 am to 12:30 pm at the Club building.  Enjoy all you can eat regular and potato pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, and more.  Adults are $8, Ages 6-12 are $4, and under 5 are free.  

    5. St. John’s Waffle Dinner
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      St. John’s Lutheran School is hosting an All you can eat Dad’s Belgian Waffles dinner on Sunday, Nov. 17th from 9 am – 12:30 pm.  Tickets are $7 in advance ($8 at the door), Children 6-12 are $5, under 5 are free.  Carry outs available.  Proceeds benefit St. John’s LWML Mission Projects at St. John’s Youth Groupl

    6. Hymn Sing – Soup and Sandwich Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cosmos is having their Hymn Sing/Soup and Sandwich Supper on Sunday, Nov. 17th from 4:30 to 7 pm at the church.  Everyone is invited.

    1. Renville County Caregivers Support Group
      1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

      The next meeting of the Renville County Caregivers Support Group will be on Tuesday, Nov 19th at the Renville County Hosptial Willette Room in Olivia.  The meeting is free of charge and runs from 1:30-3 pm.  Topic for the month is “Hints for the Holiday’s with Santa’s Elves”.  All are welcome.  Future meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month.  For more info contact Paulette 523-3451

      The Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church is having their 7th annual Chili Supper at the church on Friday, Nov. 22nd from 5-7 pm.  On the Menu: Chili, Soup, Cornbread, beverage, and a bar.  Craft and Baked Good Sale that day as well.  Proceeds go to the church’s building fund.

    2. Brownton Legion Duck Party
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The Brownton American Legion is having their annual Duck Party on Friday, Nov. 22nd starting at 7 pm at the Brownton Commnity Center.  1st prize is $100 cash, 2nd and 3rd prize get $50 cash, and 4th – 8th prize get $25.  Also drawings for Hams, Turkeys, Ducks and other prizes throughout the night. 

    3. Hamburg Lions Bingo
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Hamburg Lions invite you to their Fall Bingo on Friday, Nov. 22nd at 7 pm at the Hamburg Community Hall.  25 total games for $8.  Food and Beverages available.

      The Plato Baseball Club’s annual Poultry Party will be held on Friday, Nov. 22nd starting at 7 pm at the Plato Hall.

      The Hector United Methodist Church invites you to their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 23 starting at 2 pm.  Enjoy Christmas Candy, stop at the country store, Bake Good Sale, Booths.  Cake, Coffee, and Cider will be served.

    2. Roaring 20′s benefit
      5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      Ridgeview Medical Foundation is hosting their Roaring 20’s Under the Harvest Moon event on Saturday, Nov. 23rd at Hazeltine National Golf Club.  Reception at 5:30pm, Dinner at 7 pm.  Join them for food, music, live auction, and memorabilia.  Dress in your favorite roaring 20’s style outfit to support the Ridgeview Medical Center.  Reservations REQUIRED.  Go to www.ridgeviewfoundation.org for more info or to register.

    3. Watertown Fine Arts Council Concert
      7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The Watertown Area Fine Arts Council is sponsoring the Steele Family in a holiday concert at the Watertown-Mayer Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 23.  Tickets are available at Watertown  Marketplace, www.wm.k12.mn.uswww.artsofcarvercounty.org, and at the door for adults $25 and children $15.  The Steele Family consists of five siblings performing holiday music, traditional music, gospel, and jazz.

      St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted is holding their Christmas Tea and Sale on Sunday, Nov. 24th.  The sale runs from 9 am – 3 pm, Tea from 1-3 pm.  Everyone is welcome.

    2. Dad’s Belgian Waffles in Howard Lake
      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Lutheran Womens Missionary League of St. James Lutheran Church of Howard Lake will host a Dad’s Belgian Waffle Dinner and Country Store at St. James Lutheran School on Sunday, Nov. 24th from 9 am to 1 pm.  The all you can eat dinner also includes sausages, beverages and your choice of syrups.  Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the door with ages 3 and under FREE.  Everyone is welcome.

    3. Harvest Celebration in Winsted
      10:00 am – 12:30 pm

      You’re invited to the Harvest Celebration at St. John’s of Winsted on Sunday, Nov. 24th.  Bluegrass music by the Kingery Family starting at 10 am, soup dinner to follow for a free will donation.

    4. Common Cup Concert
      3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      Common Cup Ministry is hosting their “Coming Together in Song VII” on Sunday, Nov. 24th at 3 pm in the Hutchinson High School Auditorium.  A Free will offering is taken.  

    5. Cedar Mills Holiday Remembrance Tree
      4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

      The Cedar Mills Lions will be having a Holiday Remembrance Tree in Cedar Mills City Park. A Short program will be on Sunday, Nov. 24th at 4 pm at the City Hall.  Lighting of the Tree will follow at 4:30 pm.  Refreshments will be served.

      The Harmony River Auxiliary will be meeting on Monday, Nov. 25th at 2 pm in the lower level conference room at Harmony River Living Center.

    1. 40 and 8 Poultry Raffle
      7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

      The 91st Annual 40&8 Poultry Raffle will be held at Hutchinson American Legion starting at 7PM on Tuesday, November 26.  All proceeds will go to the club’s Nurses Training Scholarship Fund.   Ducks, turkeys, and meat packages will be raffled.

    2. New Germany Bingo Party
      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The New Germany American Legion is having their Bingo Party on Tuesday, Nov. 26th starting at 7 pm at the New Germany City Hall.  24 games of bingo, with prizes including Turkeys, Hams, and Sausages. Also three $50 cash prizes are given out.  The Auxiliary will be serving hamburgers starting at 6:30 pm.

      You’re invited to the Pilgrim worship service on Wednesday, Nov. 27th at the Brownton Congregational Church, starting at 7 pm.  They will be worshipping as if in Marlborough, MA 1695.
