The Singing Friends Chorus, a 35-voice community choir presents two concerts this spring: Saturday, April 28th at 2 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe, and Sunday, April 29th at 2 pm at Church of Peace in Norwood. The spring concert features a broad sampling of choral music, including classic choral works, sacred and gospel music, and folk and pop songs. Admission is by free will offering at the door, with a reception to follow.

−National Day of Prayer Events in Hutchinson6:00 am – 12:00 pm
Events in Hutchinson for National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 3rd. Crosspoint Church, located at 1215 Roberts Rd SW, will be hosting an *EarlyRiser Event* at 6:00 am with prayer and acoustic worship. The *Noon Prayer Event* will be held at Library Square on Main Street. Praise songs will be led by Christ the King Lutheran Church. In case of rain the noon event will be at Faith Lutheran, 335 Main Street S. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for outdoor seating. Everyone is invited to these free events.

−Brownton Bike a thon1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
The Brownton Womens Club Bike-a-thon is Sunday, May 6th at the Brownton City Park starting at 1 pm. Anyone can sponsor a biker by pledging money to sponsor them. They can either pledge a specific amount per mile or a flat fee. Children have from now until May 6th to ask for pledges. Packets of registration, parental consent, and pledge forms are available at the Brownton City Office and Security Bank & Trust in Brownton. At the end of the day, hotdogs, chips, cookies/bars, and beverages will be served to everyone that attends, including participants and their family/supporters. The child with the most pledges from each of the 3 age groups (K and 1st grade, 2nd and 3rd grade, 4th-6th grade) will win a new bike. The second place prize for each age group is a $50 gift card. Every child that participates will receive a participation prize.
