    1. Bloodmobile
      1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Cokato on Monday, October 23rd from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 395 Broadway Ave. No.  Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred.  For an appointment call Margaret at 320-0286-5827.

      The Bloodmobile is in Plato on Tuesday, Oct 24th at the Lighthouse Church from Noon-6 pm.  For an appointment call Ken or Myra at 320-238-2370.

    1. Sausage and Ham Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Glencoe Lions Club invites you to their Annual “All You Care to Eat” Sausage/Ham Supper on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Pla-Mor Ballroom, Glencoe, serving from 4:30 p.m. To 7 p.m. with take-outs available. Menu includes: Sausage, ham, scalloped potatoes, corn, applesauce, dinner rolls, bars, coffee and milk. Advance adult tickets are only $9.00 and are available from Lions Club Members. Prices at the door are Adults – $10.00; Children (age 4 – 10) $5.00, and Children age three and under eat FREE. Proceeds will be used toward community projects. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf. Collection boxes will also be available for your used eyeglasses, sunglasses and hearing aids.

      The SL Knights of Columbus are having a Paper Drive on Friday and Saturday, Oct 27/28. Items accepted include Newspapers, Magazines, Cardboard, and Junk Mail. Drop off items on the north side of the Holy Family Church from 7a-7p.  

    2. Turkey Supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Cokato Legion invites you to a Turkey Supper on Friday, Oct 27th at the Cokato City Hall from 4:30-7 pm. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for Child.

    1. Vendor and Craft Fair
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      Its the 7th annual Vendor and Craft Fair on Saturday, Oct 28th from 9a-2p at the Sibley East High School. Proceeds benefit the area Catholic Community’s Mission Trip in 2018. Lunch is also served.  

    2. Chili and Soup Luncheon
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      St John’s Lutheran Church of Hollywood has their Child and Soup Luncheon along with their Bake Sale on Saturday, Oct 28th from 11a-1p. Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for those 5-12, and under 4 free.

    3. Halloween Party
      4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      You’re invited to a Halloween Party at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct 28th from 4:30-8:30 pm. Also stop by the Haunted House and Hayride. Cost is $5 for the Haunted House, and .50 cents per ticket for the Halloween Party. 

    4. Hutchinson VFW Auxiliary Meeting
      6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Unit 96 of the American Legion Auxiliary  will be on October 28th at the Hutchinson VFW Post 906 at 7pm.  A meal will be available for purchase and served at 6pm

      The Hutchinson Concert Association presends Derik Nelson and Family on Saturday, Oct. 28th, 7 pm at Park Elementary in Hutchinson. Individual Tickets are $20 or Concert Memberships are available at the door.

      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      The Immanuel Lutheran Church of Brownton has their German Dinner on Sunday, Oct 29th from 10:30a-1p. ON the Menu is Brats, Meatballs, Glazed Carrots, German Potato Salad and More. Adults are $12, Children 6-10 are $6, and Preschool is free. Take Outs available. Proceeds benefit Noas ark preschool

    2. Baked Chicken Dinner
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

      You are invited to the St James Lutheran Church of Howard Lake for their Baked Chicken Dinner with all the fixings on Sunday, Oct 29th from 11a-1p. Take Outs available, plus shop the Craft and Bake Sale also. Suggested Donation is $12.  

    3. Reformation Sunday
      11:45 am – 1:00 pm

      Peace Lutheran Church has Reformation Sunday Celebration on Sunday, Oct 29th. A German Dinner will be served from 11:45a-1p, also enjoy a Hosanna Handbell Concert. Suggested Donation is $8 for adults and $5 for those age 10 and under.  

    4. Annual Meeting and Potluck
      12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

      The Ness Church Cemetery Association of Litchfield’s annual Meeting and Potluck is on Sunday, Oct 29th. Noon Potluck, Meeting at 1 pm. Public is invited.

      5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

      The Bethlehem United Methodist Church has their Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct 31st from 5-6:30 pm. Decorated Car Trunks with Candy and you can vote for your favorite Trunk. All Welcome.

    2. Halloween Party
      5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Brownton Lions Club is sponsoring its annual Halloween party for kids in sixth grade and under on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Brownton Community Center. There is an entrance fee, which will be donated to the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf. The local Girl Scout Troop 34204 will be serving lunch as a fundraiser. The Lions also will be collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids to be donated to Lions International.

      St John’s Lutheran Church of Winsted has their Chili and Pie Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 3rd from 10a-1p. Cost is a Free Will Donation. Proceeds go to support St John’s Missions.

      St Andrew’s Catholic Church of Fairfax has their Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Nov 4th from 9a-1p. Enjoy Apple Dumplings at 9 am, Soup and Sandwich Luncheon from 10a-1p, and the “Glorius Crowns” Vintage Hat Display. Everyone is Welcome.

    2. Fall Extravaganza
      9:00 am – 2:00 pm

      The Fall Extravaganza at Harmony River Living Center of Hutchinson is  Saturday, November 4, 9am-2pm. No admission charge, lunch available on site, drawings for door prizes, Arts, Crafts, Baked Goods and  Vendors, on 2 levels. Please use the main entrance

    3. Uffda Day
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Atwater will be holding their annual Uffda Day on Saturday, November 4, from 9 a.m. to noon. At our bazaar we will have handmade gifts and crafts, gently used puzzles, farmers market with fresh produce, Wayne’s peanut brittle, baked goodies including Scandinavian treats and lefse, quilt raffle and more. Morning coffee will be served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a Scandinavian meal will be served from 10 a.m. to noon. The Scandinavian meal includes: open face sandwich (rullepølse, turkey or ham), chicken wild rice soup, fruit soup, rømmegrøt, lefse and specialty cookies. 

    4. ACGC Musical
      2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

      The musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie Junior” will be presented by the ACGC Drama Department on Saturday, Nov 4th  and Sunday, Nov. 5th at 2p and Monday, Nov. 6th at 7 pm in the ACGC Theater in Grove City. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $6 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.

      8:00 am – 1:00 pm

      The Women of St John’s Catholic Church in Hector are holding their annual Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday, Nov. 11th from 8a-1p at the BLHS High School in Hector. Cinnamon and Caramel Rolls served from 8a-11a, and a BBQ Lunch served from 11a-1p. Also dont forget to bid on the silent auction!

    2. Breakfast Brunch
      9:00 am – 1:00 pm

      Today’s women of Hutchinson is hosting a Breakfast Brunch on Sunday, Nov 12th from 9a-1p at the Elks in Hutchinson. All Proceeds go to the Elks All Inclusive Park. Cost is $8 in advance, $9 at the door

    3. Stewart Legion Poultry Party
      5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

      The Stewart American Legion is having their annual Poultry Party and Raffle on Saturday, Nov. 11th at 5:30 pm at Cactus Jacks 2 in Stewart. This Fundraiser benefits several VA Programs. They are raffling off Turkey’s, Hams, Ducks, Steaks, and more! Plus Prize drawins all night and Free beer and BBQ’s from 6:30-8 pm.

      Build your own Wreath at the Brownton Congregational Church on Sunday, Nov. 12th at 2 pm. Cost is only $20 and includes all the decorations, fun, food and more! Open to the Public!

    1. Medicare Presentation
      2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      Join Sibley County Public Health for a FREE presentation on how changes in Medicare for 2018 will affect Medicare beneficiaries. The CARE event will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Arlington Community Center in Arlington. Two sessions of this event will be offered: the first beginning at 2:00 pm and the second session beginning at 6:00 pm. There will be free blood pressure checks before the presentations, refreshments and door prizes. Featured speakers will be Robin Thompson from the MN River Area Agency on Aging and Stephen Perry from MN Department of Veterans Affairs. Various local agencies supporting the event will share information on the services they offer. If you have questions contact Sibley County Public Health and Human Services at (507) 237-4000.

      The Litchfield Opera House has their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov 18th from 9a-2p. Free Admission, Snack and Coffee Bar, and Unique Homemade Crafts.

    1. Christmas Concert Benefit
      3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

      Christmas Concert Benefit for Chrystal Milbrandt will be Sunday, Dec 3rd at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Stewart. The BASICS perform at 3 pm, Hot Sandwich Meal at 4:30 pm for a Free Will Offering. Also dont forget to bid at the Silent Auction.

      The Brownton Congregational Church presents their annual Christmas Sing-along on Sunday, Dec 17th at 2 pm. Free to attend, stay after for coffee or tea and a taste of “the 12 Breads of Christmas”
