      First Lutheran LWML is have a Salad Luncheon on September 22 from 11:00-1:00.  They will be serving a variety of  salads , breads, and salads. It will be held in the First Lutheran Fellowship Room in Glencoe.

      7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      The Litchfield Opera House presents 4 Hall of Fame Musicians in Concert on Saturday, Sept. 23rd from 7-10 pm. Pat Curto, Danny Grossnickle, Mike Shaw, and Tony Stark perform together, with tickets $10 for all ages. Pulled Pork or Turkey meal served starting at 6 pm. RSVP to litchopera@yahoo.com

      St Boniface of Stewart has their Fall Festival on Sunday, September 24th at the church. Serving a Pork Loin Dinner from 10:30a-1p. Cost is $10, Extra Loin is $2, Kids 4-10 years old is $5. Also take part in the Raffle, Silent Auction, Games, Dollar Table, Clown, Face Painting, Music and More.

    1. PACER Center Program
      6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      PACER Center will offer “Transitioning to Employment,” a free workshop for parents of youth with disabilities and for professionals. It will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Days Inn, Hutchinson. This workshop will provide information on career exploration and planning, including information about agencies that provide independent living, financial, and employment services and supports. Parents will gain knowledge about how to help prepare their youth for employment and life skills after high school. Parents of students in ninth grade and above are encouraged to attend. Participants will receive a packet of helpful information and resources.     1. Tiger Family Fun Day
      9:30 am – 10:00 pm

      Hutchinson HS is hosting Tiger Time Family Fun Day on Saturday, Sept. 30th. In the morning it’s the Tiger Cub Challenge…an American Ninja Warrior type course designed for younger kids ages 6-13. Plus the Tiger Time Challenge is a similar course designed for those ages 14 and up. In the Afternoon the High School will be open from 1-3 pm for Tours of the newly redesigned portion of the building, and in the evening starting at 7 pm it’s Tigers After Dark at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds. Live Music,Beverages, Food and Games!  

    2. Plato Lions Oktoberfest
      4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      The Plato Lions have Oktoberfest on September 30th from 4-7 pm at the King Pin Pub. Serving Brats, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, Apple Dessert, Hot Dogs and more! Proceeds go to local projects

      St John’s Lutheran Church of Gaylord is having their Fall Windsor Pork Chop Dinner, Country Store, and Usborne Books Fundraiser on Sunday, Oct 1st at the Gaylord American Legion. Dinner from 11a-1p. Cost is $11 for adults, Children 5-10 are $5. Take Outs available.

      8:30 am – 12:00 pm

      Senior Providers of Mcleod County presents a Stress Management and Resiliency Training Program by Debbie Fuehrer on Tuesday, Oct 3rd at the Hutchinson Event Center from 8:30a-Noon. The program is designed for Caregivers, Professionals, Families, Friends and the Community. The SMART program is scientifically proven to decrease symptoms of stress and anxieity and increase well being. Tickets available at Harmony River of Hutchinson and Ecument of Litchfield.

      You are invited to the United Lutheran Church of Lake Lillian’s annual Fall Festival on Thursday, Oct. 5th. Swedish Meatball Dinner served. Cost is $10 for adults, $3 for those 6-12, and 5 and under free.

      The Church of Peace in NYA has a Sloppy Joe Lunch on Friday, October 6th from 11a-1p. Cost is just a free will offering, take outs available

    2. St A’s School Fundraiser
      1:15 pm – 3:00 pm

      On Friday, October 6, St. Anastasia School students along with staff, parents and friends will participate in the Marathon for Nonpublic Education, a 3.5 mile walk along the crow river to raise funds and awareness for their school.  .  The students will leave from the school gym at approximately 1:20 p.m. and return from the walk around 3:00 p.m.   As St. Anastasia Catholic School’s largest fundraiser, the Marathon helps to support the continuous growth of its students. Donations can be sent to St. Anastasia School – Marathon, 400 Lake Street SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350 or online at www.stanastasiaschool.net

      It’s the 4th annual Multiple Sclerosis Research Fundraiser on Saturday, October 7th from 4-8 pm at the Glencoe VFW. Live Music by the Country Fried Grubers from 7-11 pm, Pork Feed from 4-7 pm, Silent Auction, Door Prizes and more.

    1. Montrose Methodist Church annual fall hot dish supper
      4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      Montrose Methodist Church annual fall hot dish supper will take place on Saturday October 14 at the church from 4:30 pm to 7.  The church is located at 230 Center Ave S in Montrose  (next to the community center) and is handicap accessible.  Featuring appetizers, salads, hot dishes, desserts & beverage.  Cost is $11 for adults; $6 for kids 5 to 12.  Age 4 and under are free.  Proceeds will benefit various mission and outreach projects.

      Help Steve Weber “Mow Down Cancer” at a benefit on Sunday, October 15th at the Silver Lake Auditorium from 9a-1p. Enjoy Rolls and Coffee from 9-10 am, and a Spaghetti Lunch from 10a-1p. There is a Bake Sale and Silent Auction as well.

      St. Anastasia Church Rummage Sale is coming up Wed-Fri, Oct 18-20th at the School Auditorium. Hours Wed and Thur 8a-6p, Friday 8a-Noon. Quarter for most items, Friday is $2/bag day. Winter Coats are $1 each.
