      The Hector American Legion and Auxiliary is hosting their Scholarship Brunch on Sunday, March 25th from 8a-12:30 pm. Serving Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs, Sausages, and Hashbrowns for a free will donation. Proceeds to to Scholarhips for graduating BLHS Seniors.

    2. Potato Pancakes
      8:30 am – 10:30 am

      The Silver Lake American Legion is serving Potato Pancakes on Sunday, March 25th from 8a-10:30am. Serving Potato or regular Pancakes, Eggs and more! All you can eat for $8 for adults, and $4 for a child.

    3. Stewart Easter Party
      9:00 am – 12:30 pm

      The Stewart Lions Annual Kid’s Easter Party and Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, March 25th from 9a-12:30pm at the Stewart Fire Hall. All you can eat Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, and more for a Free Will Donation. Proceeds go to local projects.

      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Isle presents their annual Smoked Ham and Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 25th from 10:30a-1p. Serving Pancakes, Eggs, Ham and more for a Free Will Offering. Proceeds go to building repairs at the church.

    5. Winsted Chicken Dinner
      10:30 am – 1:00 pm

      The Winsted Catholic Order of Foresters Chicken Dinner is Sunday, March 25th from 10:30-1 p at the Blue Note Ballroom of Winsted. Tickets are $11 in advance, $12 at the door, Children 6-10 are $5. Serving Chicken, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Cole Slaw and more! Proceeds benefit the Holy Trinity School Girls Locker Room Renovation Project.

    1. Easter Egg Hunt
      10:00 am – 11:00 am

      The Brownton Womens Club Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, March 31st at 10 am at the Brownton Community Center. Ages Toddler to 3rd grade are welcome to come collect eggs, get a treat bag and prizes. Refreshments are served and you can take photos with the Easter Bunny! Free admission.

    2. Severe Weather Training
      7:00 pm – 9:30 pm

      Mcleod County Emergency Management is holding a Severe Weather Training open to the public on Thursday, April 5th starting at 7 pm in the Mcleod County Courthouse Basement. No RSVP Needed. Training is put on by the National Weather Service.

      The Buffalo Lake Lions Annual Fish Fry is Friday, April 6th from 11:30a-7p at the BL Fire Hall. All you can eat for $11 in advance or $12 at the door. Ages 5-12 are $4, and under 5 is free. Proceeds go to local projects.

      The Friends of the Hutchinson Library has their Used Book Sale on Saturday, April 7th from 10a-3p in the meeting room of the Library.

    3. Habitat Day
      12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

      The Litchfield Wetland Management District of the US Fish & Wildlife Service will host “Habitat Day 2018” on Saturday, April 7 th , from 12:00 – 4:00pm in Litchfield. The event has a variety of offerings for all ages who are interested in wildlife and habitat in our area. This event is free! Coloring books, posters, and an assortment of wildlife related materials and educational displays for all ages will be available throughout the afternoon. Special guests at the event include the Wildlife Wizard who will quiz children and adults on the wildlife and habitat of the area as well as Pheasants Forever, Inc., FWS Partners Program, MN Honey Producers Association, and FWS Migratory Birds who will have booths

    4. Brownton Brewfest
      6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      The 2018 Brownton Craft Brewfest is Saturday, April 7th at the Brownton Civic Center Gymnasium. Doors open at 6 pm, Show at 7 pm featuring the Church of Cash, Johnny Cash Tribute. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

    5. Carver County Dairy Coronation
      6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      The 66th Annual Carver County Dairy Dinner and Princess Coronation is Saturday, April 7th at the Mayer Community Center. Social Hour starts at 6:30 pm, Dinner at 7:30 pm and Program at 8 pm. Tickets are available for advance purchase until March 30th for $15 from local Dairy Farmers, any ADA Board Member, or any Committee Member. Tickets at the door are $20.

      The Mayer Fire Deptartment Fish Fry is Sunday, April 8th from 10:30a-1:30p. All you can eat Fish, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw and more! $11 for adults, $5 for Children. Plus the Zion Lutheran School is selling Pie as a fundraiser, and the Mayer Fire Auxiliary is having a bake sale.

    2. Stories of Hope and Healing
      6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

      You are invited for Stories of Hope and Healing on Sunday, April 8th at 6:30 pm at the Hutchinson Event Center. The Free event is during a Resource Fair and Community Health Services Presentation. Suicide Survivor and Storyteller Kevin Hines, along with Army Veteran and Marathoner Dick Beardley will speak at the event. No registration is required.

      The Brownton Congregational Church is hosting their Community Meal the Second Wednesday of Each month (April 11) from 5-7 pm. Cost is just a free Will Donation. Take Outs available.

      7:00 am – 7:00 pm

      The Silver Lake Knights of Columbus Paper Drive is Friday and Saturday (April 13, 14) on the North Side of the Holy Family Church in Silver Lake. Items accepted include Newspapers, Magazines, Cardboard, and Junk Mail. Items must be clean and dry. Proceeds go to the SL Summer Youth Rec Program and Swimming Pool.

    2. Comic Relief
      5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      Join St. Philips Church of Litchfield for a night of Comic Relief on Friday, April 13th. Doors open at 5 pm, Happy Hour at 5:30 pm, Dinner at 6:30 pm, and Comedian John Bush performs at 8 pm. Tickets are $35 before March 30, $45 after March 31.

    3. Hammer and Nails Fundraiser
      5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

      Crow River Habitat for Humanity’s annual Hammer and Nails Fundraiser Dinner is Friday, April 13th from 5-9pm at the Crow River Country Club in Hutchinson. Cost is $50. Enjoy appetizers, cocktails, dinner, music, auction, raffles and more!

      Hunters Ridge Community Church has an authentic Italian Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 14th starting at 4:30 pm. Serving Spaghetti, Ceasar Salad, Bread and more! Proceeds send kids to Bible Camp.

    2. Mystery Dinner Theatre

      It’s Murder at the Hutch Zoo for Mystery Dinner Theatre on Saturday, April 14th at the Hutchinson Event Center. Doors open at 5:30 pm, 6 pm Show. Cost is $35 for this Senior Center Fundraiser. Call 320-234-5656 for Tickets or details.

      St Anastasia Church Rummage Sale is Wednesday and Thursday (April 18, 19) from 8a-6p. Quarter for most items, Thursday is $2/Bag Day from Noon-6 pm. Winter Coats and Jackets $1 each.

      You’re invited to the Weege Family Benefit on Saturday, April 28th from 2-6 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Howard Lake. Serving Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Cowboy Beans, Cole Slaw and more. Adults are $10, Kids 12 and under are $6. Bid on the silent auction as well! Proceeds go to the Weege Family who are recovering from a Christmas Morning Fire.
